LEVI POVOAS

Located on Union Street, the interchanging structure is a screening system by day with a spatial methodology, and by night a designated physical and phycological shelter for the homeless, where the screens rotate into an interior space. 
My work builds off ‘Prospect and Refuge Theory’, which explores the feeling of security in environments and weather they fulfil ‘the basic human Psychological needs’.
